LinC Groups

 HCC is committed to seeing every person grow into the fullness of God’s plan for them. We believe this is assisted through regular church attendance and opportunities to build close and supportive relationships with other Christians.
LinC groups are an essential means of growing in God - with weekly prayer, discussion and bible study groups and an opportunity to make great friends, we encourage all to check out the number of LinC groups available.

Children’s Ministry

 Highway Christian Church are committed to see the generations rising in God’s purpose and blessing. There is no Junior Holy Spirit - the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in every young life. Knowing this, Childrens Ministers are passionate about seeing the next generation empowered by the Holy Spirit to live life to the absolute full.
Age groups:  

  • Shine Junior ~ Pre-school to year 1
  • Shine Senior ~ Year 2 to year 5
  • Plugged ~ Year 5 to year 8

Impact Youth

 Impact Youth is a vital ministry of Highway Christian Church that reaches, trains and releases young people into their God-given destiny. Impact is committed to raising up a generation of young people that are passionate for God, love life and live it to the full.

Impact’s programs include:
Impact 7-12 ~ for highschool students / youth from 5:15 to 7:30pm

Young Adults/ Equip

 For school leavers and young people from the age of 18 to 25, HCC’s YA / Equip program is an essential for all young adults desiring to enter into the fullness of God’s plan for their lives and also catching the heart of God for missions, whether it be overseas or in our own community. Meeting on various nights throughout the term, YA / Equip aims to build strength, wisdom and freedom into the life of every young person.

Getting Started With God

 This is a course that you can be a part of if you are a new Christian or even been a Christian for years but you wish to learn the basics of what is involved in your walk with God.
This couse is on Sunday straight after the morning service at various times throughout the year. For more information please contact us by email here.

ACTS

A.C.T.S is the community-charity arm of Highway Christian Church and is a vital ministry that reaches out to families and individuals in crisis, meeting everyday needs. 

A.C.T.S performs the following services to the community:

  • FOODCARE ministry where people in hardship can receive groceries / goods free of charge.
  • Random Acts of Kindness Days that bring the church out into the community with free giveaways, BBQ’s, special events and assisting with maintenance and gardening needs for families in difficult circumstances.
  • Community outreach events such as New Years Eve ministry to young people at risk.
  • Training events and courses that support and educate members of the community.

How You Can Help

  1. Volunteer - there are many ways to serve the community in this vital ministry. Get involved in Acts of Kindness Days or become one of our regular volunteers with the FOODCARE ministry.
  2. Give - all donations over $2 are tax deductible and go directly to helping people in need.
    You can give to A.C.T.S through the following:
    Sunday Service offerings - place your cash / cheque / credit card gift in an offering envelope with your name and a tax receipt will be sent to you.

FoodCare

Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm ~ 240 Princes Highway, Ulladulla. For families and individuals struggling to make ends meet, we offer a free and confidential service that provides groceries, pantry products, toilettries and other goods AT NO COST to the individual. We also provide emotional support, budget advice and home maintenance services at various times throughout the year.
